On March 15, we will be observing International Long COVID Awareness Day, which serves to recognize the countless Americans who have been affected by long COVID.

March 15, 2023 marks the first International Long COVID Awareness Day. Initiated by members of the long COVID patient community, the purpose of this special day is to recognize the people who have been affected by this disease to raise awareness about long COVID. We at Pandemic Patients are dedicated to addressing the harm caused by COVID-19 and ensuring that patients receive the support and services they need to live their best lives. Accordingly, we are pleased to share that we are endorsing International Long COVID Awareness Day.

Pandemic Patients is pleased to support the long COVID community by endorsing International Long COVID Awareness Day. We encourage those who have been personally affected by long COVID to participate in this event to increase the visibility of this important issue and continue advocating for solutions.

In January 2020, the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services declared a public health emergency in response to the coronavirus pandemic, which allowed for many temporary changes to health policy in the United States. The public health emergency has been extended several times, but the Biden Administration recently announced that the public health emergency will end on May 11, 2023.
