Pandemic Patients Recognized by the IRS

Sept. 2, 2021

On September 2, 2021, Pandemic Patients received a letter from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that affirms the organization’s status as a tax-exempt public charity under the Internal Revenue Code Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). This Determination Letter clarifies that contributions made to Pandemic Patients are tax deductible, which includes all charitable contributions made to the organization since it was founded on May 26, 2021.

Pandemic Patients is very pleased with how quickly the IRS was able to issue a determination letter to the organization. Furthermore, this achievement represents a tremendous step forward for Pandemic Patients and provides solid footing for the organization to continue advancing its mission.
